What is Grok?
Grok is xAI's AI assistant. The latest Grok 4.5 (July 2026) was trained alongside Cursor and is built for coding, agentic tasks and knowledge work — fast (~80 tokens/sec) and cheap ($2/$6 per 1M tokens).
It powers Grok Build (apps, Excel, slides) and is available in Cursor on all plans.
Grok, from xAI, is aimed at speed and cost on coding and agentic work. Its low per-token pricing and fast output make it attractive for developers running many requests, and it is also available inside tools such as Cursor, where much of that coding happens.
It has fewer India-specific features than Gemini, and as with every model, generated code still needs review before it ships. Availability also differs by region.
For general everyday use in Hindi, Gemini or ChatGPT is the more complete consumer experience. For long-context reading and review, Claude is often preferred.
