SelfAgent (from VYZonek Technologies, Rajasthan) is a free, self-hosted AI agent — it builds full-stack apps with a real database, tests and fixes its own work, makes videos and images end-to-end, and runs 148+ skills from a web UI, Telegram bot or CLI.

Unlike cloud AI agents, everything runs on your own PC or VPS — your data never leaves your hardware — and it's free forever, with a free-first model router (Gemini, DeepSeek, Groq, Ollama offline and more).

SelfAgent is a self-hosted AI agent built in India. It runs on your own hardware or server and can build full-stack apps with a real database, produce images and video, and carry out tasks from a web interface, a Telegram bot or the command line — with your data staying on your machine.

Self-hosting means you provide and maintain the hardware or VPS, and the best results need an API key from a model provider or a local model through Ollama. It is a newer project with a smaller community than the large cloud agents.

If you would rather not run anything yourself, a hosted agent such as Manus is simpler. For just running local models without an agent, Ollama on its own is enough.
